MorgueBoard®

Patient Care Does Not End At Death™

Our History

The MorgueBoard® Company was founded with the recognition that death care is often undervalued in today’s healthcare landscape. While many providers understand its significance, the broader healthcare industry frequently overlooks it as a critical risk. Through collaboration with organizations around the globe, we encountered a wide range of methods for managing death care processes. This has highlighted the necessity for a comprehensive organizational approach that addresses the various aspects of death care.

The essential activities required for effective death care—such as tracking the deceased, conducting autopsies, managing personal belongings, and ensuring safe handling—vary significantly among hospitals.

This inconsistency raises concerns similar to those seen in patient care for the living, prompting us to question why such variability is accepted. Many organizations still rely on outdated paper methods or rudimentary solutions, leading to minimal funding and support for the crucial processes that care for the deceased. It is vital for healthcare institutions not only to heal the living but also to treat deceased patients with the dignity and care they deserve.
